“Two Very Nice Nights at the Sweet Dreams B&B”
Sweet Dreams B&B offers very comfortable, easily accessible rooms on the ground floor once you have the instructions, with good security and entry lighting. I stayed in the King Suite, which is more than ample for two people sharing a king bed. The hosts, Amy and Shay, were welcoming and focused on making the stay pleasant, and Amy makes excellent breakfasts that you enjoy on the covered patio overlooking the garden, just around the corner from your room. There’s a lovely pool in the garden available to guests. The bed was very comfortable, and if you want to cook meals beyond breakfast, the King Suite has a full kitchen with snacks and starter amounts of coffee, tea, creamer, etc. provided. In my case, the location was only a few blocks from my friends’ apartment, which was ideal for me. The King Suite was converted from a former garage; it’s a good conversion but two issues remain. One is a step down at the entrance, which I was told about in advance and which is clearly marked. The other was a problem for me: the big garage door had an arch at the top that is now a narrow, wide window that cannot be covered. A lot of light comes in both day and night. I woke up very early (ca. 6:15) and could not get back to sleep. If you have trouble sleeping in a room with a lot of light and don’t like wearing an eye mask, this room may not suit you. Parking is not provided, but that wasn’t an issue for me because there is plenty of on‑street parking available, just that you may have to walk a block or so.
