“It was very nice for what I needed — a place to sleep and shower while visiting family.”
I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which turned out better than I had imagined. I grabbed a few essentials like plain yogurt for my mini fridge, but I had already assumed that would be necessary. The spot was convenient for me; I walked to my destination each morning and usually rode back to the hotel in the evening. The suite’s layout felt awkward, though. The sitting area was very dim and the light fixture emitted an unattractive blue hue. Because the room sat on the first floor and faced the parking lot, I couldn’t open the curtains for natural light, and even a crack in the curtains seemed like a breach of privacy, making it feel a bit like a dungeon. I spent very little time in the room and would not have wanted to work there.
