The accommodation is in a fantastic spot, just one minute from the spa, clean and renovated. Parking is free, the wellness area is modern and ample enough to relax. The food is varied and tasty. The beds, however, were noisy and creaked a lot.
The interior of the hotel is stylish, and the rooms are spotless. The staff are helpful. The vegetarian meals were subpar, the air‑conditioning made a lot of noise, and the cooling wasn’t adequate. The TV isn’t worth turning on, there are two antennas and a receiver.
“Unprofessional communication ruined the overall impression.”
The meal options were reasonably varied, the spa was clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient for travelers coming from Croatia. Unfortunately, the stay ended badly because of unprofessional communication. I had prepaid my parents’ stay and two massages at €20 each and had specifically requested to be contacted about any additional arrangements or charges. At checkout we were asked to pay for an extra massage that had supposedly been verbally agreed with the masseuse. The masseuse’s English seemed limited to very basic words like “yes” and “no”, and my parents don’t speak English very well either, so it’s unclear how a reliable agreement could have been made. The extra massage was simply added by hand, without any prior confirmation from me. The receptionist initially insisted that we pay and only backed down after a discussion. Later, when I asked for the price of the drinks in euros, he rolled his eyes and said he did not know the amount, even though prices at reception were also listed in euros. The issue isn’t the money, but how the situation was handled.
“Ár érték arányban elfogadható.”
The hotel’s location is good. The shower cabin door didn’t close properly, and the internal lock on the room door was faulty.
The food was tasty and the staff were friendly. The wellness area was nice and clean but a bit small. The bed was very uncomfortable.
