The free area is very good. Knowing that the water filter hadn’t been changed in a long time and had sludge in it, or seeing a dengue‑prone environment being ignored, is a concern. The wonderful, family‑friendly crowd, but certain details need attention.

The hostel is amazing! The staff help with everything needed, the bathrooms are cleaned daily. I stayed in a single room and the space was great for a solo traveler, with a blanket and towels provided. It was raining when I arrived, but there’s an outdoor pool that looks very good too. It’s not exactly bad, but the hostel isn’t in the center, though it’s easy to get around by Uber, and Geribá beach is nearby, which is also a great beach to enjoy.
