Comfortable rooms with free WiFi are offered 500 metres from Mendoza’s historic district. The property is 1 km from the bus terminal and 200 metres from the main avenue. Private parking is free and located in the street across the property. Hostel Lagares has practical rooms styled in vibrant colours and equipped with air conditioning. All rooms feature shared bathrooms. Breakfast included in the price (Free Coffee and Tea, Juice, Homemade Jam and dulce de leche / 2 slices of bread, 1 croissant and 1 portion of scrambled egg). Guests can also prepare their own meals using the common kitchen and request assistance at the front desk. At Lagares, guests are only 1 km from Independencia Square and 8 km from Mendoza City Airport.

They welcomed me warmly, were very kind and helpful, and invited me to dinner; the bed was fairly comfortable. The breakfast shown in the photos was nothing like what I got—no fruit, no scrambled eggs, no cocoa, no yogurt, no jam, just some pear compote and a dry croissant; I don’t like lies, photos that aren’t contractual. There was no ladder to reach my bed, no individual platforms to put my stuff, the water flow was weak, and hot water came in bursts.

If you want a place in Mendoza that feels like home with family or friends, Hostel Lagares is the spot. The vibe is relaxed, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

The place is quiet and very international, and the whole team is attentive. I didn't dislike it at all, just wish the breakfast had a bit more variety. It’s fine, but a wider selection would be great.
