The hotel is older and has its own charm. I stayed in a corner room on the 1st floor. It was big enough, but the bathroom was a bit small; still fine for a short stay. Very clean! Central location, everything within walking distance. The reception was very friendly. There’s a corner for tea and coffee. I found the stair covering unsafe, with two overlapping layers on top of the actual carpet. It’s firm, but I see it as a potential tripping hazard.

Lage zu den Fährhäfen in Cuxhaven. Das alte Ambiente. Zimmer klein, aber fein. Spät angekommen und Schlüssel über Box erhalten. kein Frühstück vor Ort

“Ansonsten alles perfekt”

Everything else was fine, but the place feels a bit dated. The carpets are worn and the floorboards in the bathroom are loose, and there's a lingering smell that makes you think it used to be a smoking hotel.

Die Lage. Perfekt wenn man weiter nach Helgoland möchte. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer sauber. Viele steile Treppenstufen
