The place was lovely and quiet, but the bathroom had a damp smell and the shower screen could have been cleaner. The microwave door had greasy finger marks, the kitchen felt overcrowded, and it was hard to get around if you have mobility issues.

The location was good, there was plenty of space, and the bed was very comfortable. The property itself looked a bit scruffy; a lot more could have been done to bring it up to its great potential.

Well situated with plenty of kitchen utensils and everything you need for a short stay, but parking was difficult to find.

Everything was set up practically. The chalet sits in a garden, the seating area is wonderful, and it’s very quiet at night. The only downside was that the small bathroom had a musty, damp smell, and the bath towels carried the same odor; it would be nice if at least the towels smelled fresh. Other than that, it was truly wonderful.

The location was excellent—just a 10‑minute walk into town—yet the bathroom felt quite damp.
