The location is great and the staff are friendly, making it perfect for catching the Illuminated Boat show. The rooms feel a bit dated but the beds are nice and comfy. Breakfast was lovely and cooked, but there was no fruit juice or butter, and pastries or toast were missing.

The hotel was fine, as expected, except for breakfast. After a function the night before, they ran out of orange juice and butter—an amazing oversight. A good manager would have gone to the nearest corner shop for emergency supplies.

The location is okay. The atmosphere felt weird, and the bar staff were indifferent and didn’t apologise. Breakfast lacked butter, milk, cereal, and juice, and the tea was stewed. Overall it was overpriced for what it offered.
