The property boasts spa facilities, a saltwater pool, sauna, sun terrace, and lush garden, as well as an indoor pool, outdoor fireplace, and yoga classes. A family-friendly restaurant serves Portuguese cuisine with vegetarian and gluten-free options, and offers breakfast with local specialties.

The double bed was comfortable and the private garden was pleasant. The single beds were tiny, hard, and uncomfortable. With two kids aged 13 and 17, the kitchen/bedroom layout was awkward. The on‑site restaurant was pricey, offered little variety, and had only one rushed waiter. Laundry service was also expensive. The location isn’t ideal; staying closer to Horta would be better. There were no lines to hang wet items, which is a must during a summer island stay!

Patio ecolodge is a peaceful spot where we could enjoy quiet rest and also use the stables for a half‑day trail. We stayed in one of the apartments with a small adjoining garden, a true haven of serenity.

The apartment was nicely equipped, well‑located with nice views, a swimming pool, and a sauna. The breakfast was eco‑friendly and offered a good selection of local cheeses. The pillows were the only downside.

The layout and location of the houses were organized. There was no air conditioning and no outdoor pool.
