“Riad/villa Neuve en devenir.”
The cook was friendly and the room, though small, offered a lovely view of the Atlas. However, the staff fell short of expectations: the place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel, with locked access that’s hard to enter or exit (no latch on the gate), no invoices or receipts, and the dinner price was a bit high. The front desk wasn’t aware of my reservation, the villa is new but poorly finished and lacks charm, and the large lounge and dining room are undecorated and soul‑less. As early guests, there’s still a lot of room to reach the standards of other riads at the same price.
