The lake view was beautiful, the restaurants were nearby, the bed was comfy and the shower was great. However, there were cobwebs everywhere on the deck and the cleaning could have been better.

The only thing that was good was the location. The resort looks run down, the exterior is falling apart, the interior décor is worn out, and the receptionist was rude when I checked in. There was no maid service; they only re‑supplied towels and took trash in the hallway by your door. The toilet seat was broken, the hallways were littered with trash, there was no breakfast on the property, only a snack service at the water park for lunch, and parking was iffy. I would NOT recommend this so‑called ‘resort’. The value was terrible.

The location was fine. We didn’t have hot water one of the mornings we were there, the cable TV didn’t work—only a few channels came in, the pillows on the couches were dirty, and we ran out of toilet paper the morning we left.

I liked that there was food available on the property, the indoor waterpark was amazing, and it was close to Arnold Park. It’s nice. The outdoor pool wasn’t heated, so I didn’t go in because it was so cold. The hotel itself probably needed an update, especially the flooring in the rooms and the balcony area. The game room was okay, but when a grandchild didn’t want to go there… that’s something—they always want to go there.
