The Sarasota Modern, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is situated in the heart of Sarasota, within a 6-minute walk of the Sarasota Opera and 5 minutes from the Sarasota County Visitor Information Center and History Museum. This hotel features a fitness centre, outdoor pool, and garden, along with free bicycles and complimentary WiFi. Rooms offer air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and balconies, while the on-site American restaurant serves brunch, lunch, and dinner.

The rooms were gorgeous, and the cold plunge, hot tub, and pool were amazing. The food and drinks were superb, and the chef was phenomenal. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Nothing was lacking; everything was flawless.

Everything is beautiful and very comfortable. The parking fee is ridiculously high.

The rooms are very spacious with a great design. There was a rack for wine glasses, but no glassware – that would have been nice. The balcony offered a great view of the pool. The food at the pool bar was excellent, and the breakfast staff were really friendly. The resort fee of 28 USD per night was an extra charge (it was already pricey). I couldn’t enjoy the pool because 15 kids were jumping and screaming; the parents were in the bar and seemed indifferent. The staff should have addressed this; we have two kids and always enforce pool rules strictly, showing basic respect for others. It’s expensive for what you receive.

The rooms were nice, and the location was perfect for the show we were attending. The restaurant food was just okay – nothing special. I had two old‑fashioned cocktails from the bar, and they both tasted completely different; again, they were just okay.
