The bath, toilet, and sink were separate and the bath was especially easy to use, but the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted, so it stayed cold after I entered; the desk had no fluorescent light, making it hard to apply makeup in the dark; there was no outlet on the bed, so I had to put my phone on the desk to charge it, which was inconvenient; there was nothing to block the peephole on the door, so I could see inside from outside, which felt creepy, so I blocked it myself.

They delivered an iron to my room and told me it was fine to leave it there, which was helpful. The shower room outside the bathroom was nice for washing, but changing clothes outside felt a bit awkward. I was disappointed that there were no welcome drinks like coffee or tea.

The hotel sits just a stone’s throw from the train station and a cluster of small shopping plazas and eateries. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially a young Japanese gentleman who patiently guided us through buying bus tickets to Haneda airport the next day using Google Translate. His genuine hospitality made us feel truly appreciated. The rooms were on the smaller side, but that’s typical for Japan and didn’t bother us.
