Holiday Inn Express Silao Aeropuerto by IHG

The room was large and had a microwave. It seemed like I didn’t need to stay here; many Uber rides from Guanajuato were available. Taking a bus from the old town to Silao wasn’t much cheaper and was crowded. The soundproofing was excellent, and there weren’t many guests. Check‑in had little explanation; the airport shuttle and take‑away breakfast required me to bring it up before they’d discuss options. The take‑away breakfast was not very good. There was nothing nearby, so I was glad to bring a little food for dinner. The TV couldn’t project from a phone. There was no water dispenser, and the water provided came in small bottles.

“Estancia agradable”

The staff were very friendly, the facilities were in excellent condition, and we really liked the room; overall our stay was very comfortable and we would definitely return. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and worth the price. The only downside was that road repairs increased Uber travel time, but that was outside the hotel’s service.

The hotel is close to the airport. The shuttle service was cut.

The place was spotless and comfy, and even though it’s right on the highway and close to the airport, it was totally peaceful—no complaints at all.
