“Ferien im Paradies - wir wollen sofort zurückkommen!!!”

I’m writing a detailed review because the enthusiasm was huge, and we also had ten days of sunshine: the hotel picked us up from the airport, gave us excellent pre‑information, and the driver was super friendly in a very comfortable car. Reception was okay, then we were taken to our room with a pool. The room, pool, and lounge were gorgeous, and the entire Melati complex is a dream. Most staff were very nice, and Khun Phuk and Khun Shogun at reception were especially helpful. Everyone greeted and smiled, truly great. The whole property is well maintained, even growing Thai herbs in their own garden plots. Events like Thai night and grill night were fantastic. The beach pool and beach were spectacular—spacious, clean, and you feel in paradise. Breakfast is served at the pool in the restaurant “The View.” Chef Jonathan and his team delighted us with a fine breakfast; daily specials varied, offering something for everyone—from those who want Asian dishes, to those who prefer scrambled eggs with sausage, classics with bread, jam, and cold cuts, healthy options with muesli and fresh fruit, extravagant sushi, and waffles for kids. Jonathan was also quick to listen to us when I had a room issue, and he resolved it in a team meeting. The restaurant is fine, even the pizza tasted excellent and the prices were reasonable. Khun Fon was a real sunshine at the restaurant, fulfilling our wishes before we even voiced them. The only small thing: the push‑buttons at the beach and pool for ordering are a great idea but need some tweaking; the beach boys don’t quite get it, but you can call and they’ll come right away and are friendly, even to our daughter. During happy hour they always ask questions!

Breakfast buffet, pool view, and the room’s equipment were simply perfect. Accidentally, the check‑out email was sent before our arrival, which confused and unsettled us.

The hotel was stunning, indulgent, and pleasant, surrounded by lush vegetation, pools, and waterfalls; the nearby beach was small and quiet, and there were options to rent jet skis and other amenities. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the welcome was amazing, giving us a great vibe. We booked a family villa with a pool, and it was perfect. The food disappointed us; although breakfast was rich and varied, it was not successful. In both hotel restaurants the food was okay, but relative to the hotel’s level and other less upscale places, it was underwhelming. Some dishes were small.
