The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the front faced Kumamoto Castle.

The facilities, service, and breakfast were excellent, and climbing onto the roof revealed a view directly opposite the main keep of Kumamoto Castle; even though restoration work was underway, the powerful scenery moved me. I’m cheering for Kumamoto’s strong recovery!
