I was shocked by how filthy it was. The toilet had leftover poop for days, ants on the bed, cockroaches everywhere, and the bathroom was covered in dirt and mud. It was nothing like a one‑star stay.

The setting was lovely, just a 10‑minute walk to town, and the staff were super friendly—one owner even doubled as a guide. The price was fair, but the cabana promised a lot of amenities that were missing: no mosquito net, no AC, no dishwasher, no fan, no toaster. It got unbearably hot at night.

It’s close to the city but feels a bit out of the way. The hosts were very helpful, giving fruit each morning before we left, and housekeeping came daily while we were out. The animals roaming around were a nice touch. It’s a good value compared to other places, but the photos don’t match the actual property—it's a bit dated, no TV, and the Wi‑Fi is spotty, though we managed with LTE.
