I chose the hotel because of its riverside location, and it lived up to the hype. The area has bars and restaurants along the river, and the town centre with its music venues is just a 1.5 km walk or a short taxi ride away. The host was the epitome of congeniality—nice and very helpful. Breakfast offered both Thai and western options; I went for Thai and was happy. Highly recommend this small boutique hotel. The only downside was the lack of a TV in the room, but that’s a minor point.
