“A éviter absolument”
Accommodation to avoid at all costs. Very difficult to access on foot (good luck with heavy luggage) through a maze of sloping alleys that drain sewage, not to mention the strong animal urine smell in a nearby cellar. The lodging was really dirty: the sink, sheets, floor mats, and bed slats were all filthy. To lock the room door you needed a padlock because the ancient wooden door had no proper lock and wasn’t airtight. All of this in an old, authentic house that lacked hygiene, even in the common area. I accept many things, but this is a NO! And €40 for a night with breakfast is too expensive for the mediocre quality. We didn’t stay long; we left within an hour of arrival.
