We arrived at night with kids and were immediately checked in. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and everything we needed after a long drive was there. Extra blankets and pillows were provided, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was not included in the price, even though the booking said otherwise. We tried to order breakfast in the morning, but the staff said they only had one stove and we’d have to wait about 40 minutes.

The staff were polite and the room was clean, but everything else was confusing about the charges – it felt extremely expensive with zero service. The dining area exists but the food is barely there; two pigeons and tea cost 2700 tг (see photo below). Sleeping in the room felt like a fire drill: the “exit” sign blazed across the entire room, so if you’re used to sleeping in darkness, forget it. The air‑conditioner was broken, the bed was probably from the 1990s, and the duvet cover and blanket were mismatched sizes. Most frustratingly, you have to bring in your own bedding to stuff the duvet cover, and corridor noise – doors creaking, gaps at the bottom – made for a noisy stay. In the morning I expected a surprise, but there was no water. Jockk.

The location is good, quiet, with a kitchen and breakfast, a clean room, and a wonderful administrator 👍. The sound insulation is poor; if someone talks at one end of the corridor, you can hear it clearly in a room at the other end. Since it was quiet at night, this didn’t bother me too much overall.

“Kort, men godt. Flinke mennedker”

I didn’t have breakfast, but the simplicity, good service, helpful staff, and reasonable price were all positives. The distance to shops is a bit far.
