“Amazing, & comfortable”

The hotel was spotless, cozy, and I felt safe—especially as a young solo female visiting South Africa for the first time—and I can’t recommend it enough; the staff were kind, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making me feel secure. They offer a free shuttle bus that takes you to the mall and Mandela Square and back, which is great for safety, and you just ring the driver to pick you up and he’ll return you to the hotel. I didn’t eat much at the restaurant; breakfast seemed to have a good selection, though I usually skip it, so I only had some fruit, but there appeared to be plenty to choose from on the buffet, and you could also order and pay extra for other items. The hotel is modern, looks nice, and is well kept, with a bar and a pleasant outdoor area; I didn’t use the pool because it was raining, but I spent a lot of time in the gym, which was a good little space with a nice view. The only minor issue was how long it took room service to bring me a plate, but that wasn’t a big deal and I understand it’s busy.
