The welcome was very good. Despite an error on the website, we were upgraded in the room. It was very clean, the pool was very pleasant with plenty of loungers, the staff were warm, and the location was ideal. The bathroom was dark, and the air‑conditioning was just above the bed.

The reception staff were lovely. The distance to the beach was perfect. The breakfast was not exciting but acceptable. The waiters at breakfast looked mostly like they didn't want to be there; one young lad even falling asleep on the work surface. The continuos chain smoking environment. Every staff member smoked, excluding those in reception. We also saw staff throwing their cigarettes on the ground and walking off. The room was supposed to accommodate 2 children and 2 adults. The double bed was ok, but the two single sofa beds were awful. In fact so uncomfortable that my son had to sleep lying on the bottom of my bed. The shower head hadn't been maintained, and so rather than the water falling from the small holes (which were blocked with limescale), it gushed out of one side. This wasn't addressed by staff when we informed them. The door to the room could have easily been broken into and needed fixing after two days there

The staff in the dining room behaved in an inappropriate manner.

Everything was phenomenal. Nothing to add.

We stayed six nights and were let down by how run‑down the place has become; the bathroom and the bedside shelves never seemed properly cleaned, and I was shocked to watch a housekeeper refill the kettle with water from a mop bucket. It’s a pity because three years ago the hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was lovely and the service was very pleasant, so we expected much more this time and can’t recommend it now, even though it’s close to the beach.
