The building was beautiful and the furnishings were lovely. It was great to return from sightseeing and cool off in the pool. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable, and they were understanding when we arrived a day late because of car rental trouble. They also turned on the air conditioning in our room on the hottest day, so when we came back it was nice and cool—very thoughtful. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but a few suggestions could make it even better: a handrail at the pool would help anyone with a challenge get in and out, and while tea and coffee are available all day, it would be nice to have small sachets of milk.

The room was spacious, pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners welcomed us warmly and gave good advice. We stayed only one night, but we really appreciated the stopover.

We felt very comfortable! Small but nice! The proximity to Amboise and the castles is great! A secure parking lot is also a big plus! Wonderful breakfast, very friendly hosts, and a fantastic new pool in the romantic garden. Highly recommended if you like authenticity! The only downside: only one restaurant in the town itself, but there are many great restaurants in Amboise nearby.

Everything was flawless, a delightful find. The owners were charming, always ready and listening, making the experience truly special. We were in a small haven of peace and quiet.
