The room matched the picture, but there was no hot water in the shower and a very loud machine woke me up at 6.10! The restaurant table was sticky and the placement was glued to the table. The breakfast was poor compared to the picture on Booking.

The room was good and nicely refreshed. The exterior, lift entrance, and gallery were not worth seeing. Very unattractive.

The location is good for exploring other cities (and Gouda itself) with your own transport. The rooms are not very large, which is fine for a 1‑3 day stay for us.

Nothing good because of an arrogant and worthless night staff. We got no room at all even though we had paid, simply because we were checking in at 23.30. We had already told them we would arrive between 23.00 and 24.00. The night porter was a very arrogant man who didn’t even want to see my confirmation proof. It was truly worthless. Total nonsense.
