The host tried to switch me to a different place than the one I booked, which I’d already seen coming from a previous incident. I called and messaged, got no answer, and when I asked for a free cancellation and refund they refused. In the end they sort of dealt with the issue, but the whole process was frustrating.

The inn sits in a really quiet spot and the nearby restaurant is nice, but when we arrived there was no running water—just a few face towels. The shower was barely functional, the fridge didn’t work at all, and the bathroom door could be locked, which made things awkward.

The double bed was comfy and the Red Bull Ring isn’t far, plus there’s a great tavern a short walk away. Unfortunately, getting there was a nightmare: a sharp bend followed by a narrow uphill road made it tough for anyone not used to driving, and the tiny parking spots were a hassle.

The apartment gave us plenty of space, but paying €154 for a room that only offered a single glass of wine and water felt off. We had no toilet paper, swarms of insects, and the basement unit smelled stale with poor ventilation. The host’s hospitality left a lot to be desired.

The whole flat had a strange odor, and even the towels smelled off. It would have been much better if the parking spot was closer to the entrance, especially since we arrived at night in the rain and had to lug our luggage a long way.
