STF Wendelsberg Hotel & Hostel, a historic 1800s building in Mölnlycke, lies 15 km from central Gothenburg and a 10‑minute walk from the town centre. It offers simply decorated en‑suite rooms in a nearby annex, free parking, Wi‑Fi, breakfast, weekday lunch sets, a shop, shared kitchen, and easy bus access; Liseberg Park and Landvetter Airport are each a 15‑minute drive away.

Clean and fresh. The breakfast could have been better

The place is simple but functional, clean and stylish, with well‑tended plants that make the atmosphere homely. The staff are very friendly and helpful, though the room lock was a bit tricky and most guests couldn’t lock their doors. I would have liked a safety chain on the inside of my room door, and there was a variation of the uncomfortable head pillow – an exact duplicate was in the wardrobe.
