Breakfast was good, the location right in the woods is ideal for nature lovers, and the landlord is friendly and very attentive, but that was simply not enough for a stay; there was no heating (it either didn't work or only worked at a very low level when the outside temperature was 3 °C); under the kitchen line I expected something else; water was only available from a mini‑washbasin in the bathroom, which sits directly under a roof slope and is thus hard to use; the shower water did not drain.
The innkeeper was exceptionally friendly and helpful; at arrival she offered a pick‑up service from the nearby town, which I gladly accepted; breakfast was generous and lovingly prepared, far exceeding the vegetarian options I had requested; the house sits very quietly in a forest on the edge of a settlement, perfect for nature lovers; a bike can be rented at the property to explore the beautiful surroundings.
