“Great for a getaway with my wife”

A lovely spot for a luxury splurge, with great staff and very comfortable rooms. I’d have preferred the private family onsen to have an open view instead of a closed room, and while the food was generally good, I wanted more seafood options.

The hotel looks really nice, though it feels a bit dated, and the staff were incredibly friendly, just like you’d expect across Japan; the room was spacious and would benefit from a renovation to bring it up to date, but the schedule was overly strict, for example only one hour was allotted for breakfast.

The property offers a shuttle from exit 1 of Toba Station, which was super convenient, and everything inside was clean and comfortable; from the front desk to the breakfast and dinner staff, everyone made me feel right at home, especially the lobby’s abundant coffee and tea snacks, and during a typhoon the hotel’s care was especially thoughtful and warm, the high‑floor room faced the sea and its décor was pleasant and relaxing, the on‑site hot‑spring facilities had great views, making for a wonderful stay.
