This was my favorite place during a three‑week Sri Lanka tour; it sits right on the beachfront, giving you a private stretch of sand and amazing sunsets, free sunbeds and towels are provided, the restaurant is great with reasonable prices and tasty food, breakfast is incredible and varies daily so I could never finish it, the staff are wonderfully kind and attentive without being overbearing, and I loved the shell motifs on the outdoor showers and sink taps. The only downside was that I booked a room without air‑conditioning, and even with a fan it stayed quite hot inside.
