The location was great and the owner communicated well; the place was well equipped, the bed linen was clean, and the shower worked fine. However, a foul odor came from the storage cupboard, so we removed some items and sprayed a lot of air freshener, which helped. The radiators in the toilet and bathroom were rusty with peeling paint, some light bulbs needed replacing, the air vents were clogged with dust, and the tops of the cupboards were filthy. There was no hot water on arrival, but my husband managed to fix it by topping up the boiler.

The caravan itself was lovely and homely, modern and comfortable, and I’ll definitely book again in the future.

The host was wonderful and did everything possible for us, especially since the day before we booked, the caravan we originally booked was taken, but the one on the Bankside was perfect and much closer to the attractions, which was great with a 4‑year‑old. The caravan was always lovely, clean, and smelled wonderful when we arrived. We barely stayed in it because we spent the weekend doing all the activities and visiting Fantasy Island with our little boy.
