Hotel As Torres da Hermida

I can’t find words to fully describe how amazing every single aspect of the service was. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was comfortable, well designed, furnished, and spotless. What truly sets this place apart are the staff—they arranged a complimentary taxi from the Camino route, welcomed me like an old friend, and made my stay extra special. When you stay, be sure to eat at the restaurant; the food was out of this world for both dinner and breakfast. Nothing was lacking; everything was perfect.

The quality is very high. The only issue was that the restaurant was loud because of a large crowd of Americans, but that was not the hotel’s fault.

“Gorgeous, but disappointing”

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our room, and I think most rooms, faced Southwest, so in the afternoon the sun poured in and you had to close the windows and the big blackout shutters or the room would heat up quickly without air‑conditioning. Basically we paid a lot for an expensive, beautiful cave and couldn’t open the blinds until the sun went down. It’s a ways off the Camino, so the hotel arranged a taxi to and from the Camino and charged us €20 each way, which I suspect was a profit for them.

“Fantastic place, staff and food”

Fantastic in every way. The staff are incredible - so helpful and thoughtful. Really well managed by Melvin. He is very responsive. I brought a group here and everyone loved it. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and furnished- each one unique. The food is excellent. A real standout property in the area . We will be back - if there’s space!. Can’t fault it at all - which is unusual for me!
