Everything was fine.

The spot was spot on – just a few minutes’ walk to the town. The room was comfy and had a balcony with a nice view of the hills. The lady at reception was very helpful. However, there was no breakfast, no coffee or tea in the room, and no soap. The place looked a bit run down, but it was good value for the price.

Simple but very correct. Very clean. The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. No breakfast.

The balcony and friendliness, plus the relaxed setting high up in Tam Dao, gave a beautiful view from the terrace (in the lobby) over the castle and everything was easily reachable.
