The balcony offered a great mountain view, the breakfast was quite ordinary, the service was decent, and the room’s equipment was well updated, yet driving up the winding mountain road is inconvenient and steep; road signs are unclear and parking signs are also vague. If you’re not driving, there’s essentially no public transport; you must take a white‑car taxi from Nanzhuang Old Street (one way about 300), and when going down you need to call a taxi at the front desk, which may cost an extra 100–150.

Even though the road to the guesthouse is steep, it’s worth it; the scenery is gorgeous, the housekeeper was kind enough to let me check in early and helped book dinner, the room was comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning—will visit again.
