Located in Seia, Chao do Rio - Turismo de Aldeia features rustic stone-built units amidst a garden, sheep flock, and 19-acre natural surroundings. Each pet-friendly unit has a living area, flat-screen TV, CD player, equipped kitchenette, dining area, private bathroom, balcony, and terrace. Breakfast items are provided, and meals can be served upon request, with fresh bread delivered daily.

Everything was great, from the staff’s friendliness and readiness to the amenities offered. The house was fully equipped with everything needed. I can’t miss mentioning the breakfast, which had a bit of everything, but the highlight was definitely that warm bread that will leave many memories. A very nice weekend away from the city’s chaos and close to nature, in a place that will create good memories.

Good, but because I have dietary restrictions, it’s always harder to meet my needs, especially with such tempting local products. I loved the bread delivered at the end of the day, still warm. The flies near the animals were very annoying for us and them. Maybe spray the ground once a week with a natural disinfectant.
