The staff were very kind, helpful and proactive, and I liked the service from everyone; the breakfast was also good. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in (12) had a shower problem, which was extremely uncomfortable. We arrived late at night and when we tried to use the shower it only offered two options: 1) cold or 2) hot, which was humanly impossible to use. Luckily a couple of friends were in the next room and we used theirs to shower; on the second day in the morning we tried to use the hot option again to avoid bothering our friends, but the shower no longer had that option, only the cold one. We had to shower in the neighboring room again. If we hadn’t had them there, I can’t imagine how much trouble it would have been, especially since the lodge was full and I don’t know if a room change would have been possible. In any case, I ended up using the neighboring room to avoid fatigue, but I believe the facilities should always be tested and verified before any guest checks in, given that our room was even more expensive than the other.
