Hotel Bernina

The location, the spacious and bright breakfast room, and the motorcycle garage were all great. However, the room, despite having a nice windowed bathroom with a large shower, didn’t satisfy me because the bed wasn’t a double but two joined single beds. It also felt claustrophobic—everything was wood on floor, ceiling, and walls, and the single window wasn’t very large… the mountain vibe was fine, but it was just too much. Additionally, the hotel charged a deposit (as per the booking) without any prior communication; I only found out at the time of payment, and a notification would have been appreciated.

“Consigliato!”

The staff were extremely kind, the breakfast was excellent, the parking was very spacious, the shower was nice, and the room temperature was adjustable. The only missing items in the room were a minibar and, possibly, a kettle or coffee machine, which are now common in many facilities.

The reception and dining staff were extremely cordial, punctual, and professional. The hotel’s restaurant served visually appealing dishes that were carefully prepared and even innovative, but in my opinion they had lost the essence of the local cuisine.

The staff were amazingly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location is close to plenty of restaurants—an excellent choice for accommodation in Livigno!
