We were greeted warmly by Nancy and Nele at their beautiful estate, where the calm and silence hit you instantly. The bedroom comes with air‑conditioning, a fridge, a good bed and a nice bathroom—everything you need for a comfortable stay and a good night’s sleep. Everything was impeccably clean. Every day a generous breakfast with homemade jam, fresh coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice. The garden with the pool is a pleasant place to spend time. The central location in Alte is a perfect base to explore all of Algarve, with a stunning waterfall nearby that’s definitely worth seeing. The hosts are always reachable for a friendly chat, great trip tips, and you can ask them anything—nothing is too much. Casa Flamenga is a must‑visit for anyone looking for a quiet and welcoming stay in the heart of Algarve. We found our own spot here and will definitely return. Nancy and Nele, keep it up. Those were wonderful days. Nele and Nancy are amazing, exceptionally friendly, the kind of hosts who make you feel at home without ever overwhelming you. Every morning we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. I can’t find words to praise the kindness and friendliness with which we were welcomed. Nothing was anything we didn’t like.
