The family‑friendly restaurant serves American, seafood, local, international, and barbecue grill dishes, plus brunch, dinner, and cocktails.

The cabin was simple but very nice, and the bathroom was simple yet okay. The beach and bay were lovely! We used the laundry service there—very good, fast, and cheap. The food at the local restaurant was decent but nothing special. The cabin sits right next to the restaurant, so it was often noisy until 23:00 or midnight. Lots of dogs and roosters made early‑morning noise. Walking from the river to the cabin takes a bit of distance. The staff were friendly but not overly so. At breakfast, you could only pick one dish and one drink; everything else had to be paid for.

The spot is in a village on a very quiet, pleasant beach. It’s a tiny place with only two cottages. The restaurant is good, and the staff are attentive. Nothing to note, but for info the rented cottage is attached to the bar‑restaurant. The place is calm, though some music plays during meal times. We like it… or we don’t.

I couldn’t fault this place at all! Balai Ko is an oasis within an oasis, the perfect spot to unwind. The people are incredible and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The only downside is that I only booked two nights—oops!

Direct beach access, no tourists, and if you enjoy wave sounds, five rows of breaking waves are enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Simple people, simple accommodation. Napcan Beach is right next to the bay. Food and drinks were decent value. The only issue was the 70–80 sand‑bug bites I got in a short time in the evening. The path to the accommodation is a field road, not suitable for regular cars.
