The kitchen is pretty handy and there are a few common spots to hang out, plus the Wi‑Fi works fine. On the flip side, it can get pretty chilly—one night I had to throw on a hoodie to sleep. The room door kept slamming open in the middle of the night, which was a real nuisance.

The staff were friendly and let me keep cooking until the end of my stay. Unfortunately, the duvet and blankets had a lot of hair on them, and there were plenty of flies—though I get it’s a seasonal thing.

The staff were wonderful, but I was surprised by the number of flies in the kitchen, even though they cleaned up about three times a day.
