For the price it was decent, and they offered a restaurant and a bar. Each room feels like a little bungalow, so you get privacy. When we arrived we had to wait because the person who should have handled check‑in was absent. We struggled to flush the toilet, but the cleaning lady was very helpful. At night the stairs from the restaurant to the rooms were dimly lit, so you need to be careful.

The vibe, the surrounding nature, the staff, and the food were all great. The internet had some hiccups and there wasn’t much to do; there was no swimming pool, which would have improved the place.

My stay at Ikoro Resort Musanze was truly exceptional, exceeding all my expectations from start to finish. The resort's thoughtful blend of nature, comfort, and local character in its design is truly impressive. The spacious, clean, and well-equipped rooms feature comfortable beds, a good working area, reliable Wi-Fi, and a lovely terrace perfect for relaxing amidst the beautiful garden views and bird sounds.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a disappointment from the start. Upon arrival, we were told they had no record of our reservation, and there was no one on site to assist us. The room was much smaller than advertised, and it lacked many of the amenities promised. We had to wait over an hour for dinner, which was basic and unimpressive, considering we were the only guests and there were two staff members in the kitchen.
