The location is ideal, the hotel is very charming, the room is spacious with very comfortable beds and tidy, pretty baths, and the staff are friendly and quick to help; we especially appreciated the young woman who handled our check‑in, gave us good restaurant tips, and made reservations for us. Nothing to complain about.

Both onsens were beautiful and even had a sauna, there were free drinks in the room, the bed was very large and cozy, and the bathroom featured a rain shower. There was nothing to criticize; we had a wonderful stay!

“Serene rejuvenation”

The room was beautiful, well‑located in the charming town of Setoda with easy walking to restaurants and shops, the Sento was a real treat after a day of cycling, and the staff were super helpful.

We came on a trip to Onomichi with my wife. The place had a nice vibe, was calm and clean. The surrounding area was also charming and quiet. The bath included a sauna, which I liked. The only slight downside was that there was no TV in the room, which might be part of the atmosphere they’re going for.

The hotel is excellent, located close to the quay, has an onsen and is comfortable. The only drawback is that there is no breakfast; the main street is somewhat empty, making it hard to find pastries, maybe impossible. Setoda is very interesting for a 3‑hour walk from Onomichi, but definitely avoid Sun Beach because there are no restaurants or beach facilities, and it falls far short of comfort standards.
