Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The ostrich fillet was cooked deliciously, and the whole meal was presented and served like a real culinary experience. Breakfast matched that quality. The restaurant and the accommodation evoke the nostalgic glamour and glory of the days when ostrich farming thrived. The silence and tranquility of the Klein Karoo at Rietfontein were magical, especially under the glorious full moon. We also enjoyed a refreshing dip in the infinity pool overlooking the peaceful surroundings. The accommodation was crisp, fresh, and beautifully furnished. The friendly and homely atmosphere on the farm made it a true five‑star experience. There was nothing in particular that we could think of as a drawback.

Very nice hosts who cooked us a truly good meal. A beautiful old farmhouse with a wide view of the South African landscape. Basically nothing to complain about.

Everything was tastefully decorated and matched the ostrich farm perfectly. The hosts were especially kind and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Dinner was very fine and served stylishly by candlelight. We used the pool with its beautiful view every day.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and you’re made to feel special in this unique space where attention to detail recreates the ambience of the ostrich palace era. The hosts are attentive and friendly, and the dinner served is excellent and highly recommended. Nothing to note otherwise.
