Pension Kursaal sits 45 m from San Sebastian Convention Centre and Auditorium, on Zurriola Beach’s promenade. Recently refurbished, rooms feature modern furniture, parquet floors, flat‑screen satellite TV, private bathrooms with hairdryers and work desks, plus central heating and free Wi‑Fi. The town centre is an 8‑minute walk, RENFE station 700 m away, and San Sebastian Airport a 25‑minute drive.

The staff were friendly, and free drinks were available. The bathroom was nice, and the elevator to the hotel was cool. We unfortunately had a view of the courtyard, but luckily there was a covered window. The room was a bit noisy.

The location is wonderful, with all the city’s must‑see spots within walking distance. The staff are very attentive and helpful everywhere. The internet was awful; the internet package I purchased had limited data, so I wanted to use the hotel’s internet, but it was terrible in our room. The hotel should improve its internet because we were not satisfied.

The location and the staff’s kind service were excellent. Nothing in particular to complain about.

The location is great right by the beach, with excellent bars and restaurants in Gros. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours after check‑out. The room was very clean and recently renovated. The renovations are new, but some elements feel a bit cheap, like the bathroom fan that isn’t strong enough to ventilate properly and the old TV with no internet connection.
