This historic inn sits in the old town. The breakfast was magnificent, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were very helpful, especially thanks to Mr. Mahmut. The only downside is that you have to climb a staircase to reach the inn, and the staff will carry your luggage for you.

My stay at Mardius Tarihi Konak was a wonderful experience, despite the steep steps that I had to climb in the old part of Mardin. The hotel is a stunning property that feels like a castle or villa, and the views from the different decks are spectacular. The details in the hotel are luxurious, and the communication before arrival and throughout my stay was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time.
