The location was spot‑on and the staff were genuinely friendly, but the room itself was a disaster – no window, no mirror, tiny and dirty. We found hair all over the floor, stained sheets and a pillowcase dotted with strands. Even after complaining and being moved, the second room was still not clean and the only towel was grimy, plus the shower only had cold water. Overall, a big let‑down. [/BODY]

The place is well‑located, yet the Wi‑Fi was weak and the bathroom layout felt awkward – cockroaches actually came in through the window. They didn’t provide a full set of sheets or towels at check‑in, the soap was already empty, and the room looked only partially cleaned. [/BODY]

The hotel’s location is convenient, but the room was constantly noisy – the air‑conditioning rattled, staff and even teachers were working nearby, and there was no enforced quiet time. Internet kept dropping, the lights flickered out often, and the TV offered a blurry picture with only a few basic channels. [/BODY]

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to point us in the right direction. [/BODY]

The hotel sits right in the middle of everything yet stays relatively quiet after dark, and the beds were comfortable – we even got an unexpected upgrade to a room with two bunks plus a double bed. Restaurants and a supermarket are just a few minutes away, and the bus stop to Tayrona is a short walk; the staff were pleasant and check‑in was hassle‑free.
