The spot was great, quiet and the scenery lovely, and the house felt spacious with comfy beds, but we were disappointed by the cleanliness: spider webs clung to the walls at various heights, the areas under the beds looked untouched, the windows were grimy, one bedroom’s shelves were dusty, and the kitchen‑adjacent sideboard had drawers full of dead insects and dust, which was unacceptable.

The site is spectacular and very close to beautiful places, with an impressive setting, but the lock system was a bit tricky.

The surroundings were lovely, and the house was massive and comfy for our group of 7. We didn't use the kitchens for cooking, but we did make use of both fridges. The downstairs living area was where we spent most of our time, and it was perfect for having conversations after meals - the house was well-stocked with utensils and crockery.
