“L'hôtel ne correspond pas du tout à l'annonce. Attention”
Nothing, the hotel doesn’t match the description at all; it’s very disappointing. We didn’t even stay to sleep. Everything was bad. Our room was filthy. Were the sheets washed? For a trip with colleagues it’s great to brush teeth and shower right next to each other, perfect for saving time and having a team meeting. We didn’t sleep here at all, it’s impossible. No soundproofing, dirty, four floors without an elevator, the vending machine only accepts coins. The smell was nauseating. Asking to choose breakfast is funny.
The décor is neat, the service is friendly, and the breakfast is good, but the location is a bit of an adjustment.

The hotel is close to the train station and lets you store your luggage when you arrive early and the room isn’t ready yet; the cheese at breakfast was tasty. Our room was on the 5th floor, there’s no elevator, so carrying luggage up was exhausting and heavy, and there were no veggies at breakfast, like tomatoes or cucumbers.

The spot is great, just around the corner from Barbes Metro and the Barbes Brasserie is excellent; Sacre Cour is also nearby. The toilet and shower are very close to the bed, there’s a lack of storage shelves and hanging space, which can be tough if you’re a couple staying more than a night. Plus there are many stairs and no lift, so you need to be pretty fit to reach the fifth floor.
