“Dear People who booked this hotel, DON'T ever make a complaint.”
We were heading to TB and this was our first stop. That first night, it sounded like someone was using a jacuzzi, and when that stopped, there was a lot of stomping. I raised the issue, but I was penalised for doing so. I always get a room on the 5th floor, yet this time I was stuck in a hell hole on the ground floor. I guess I’m not supposed to bring up the fact that I couldn’t sleep that night. If I ever end up on the ground floor again, I won’t go there again. I wanted to feel valued, but I felt unwelcome instead. I could have been given a 5th‑floor room, as usual, yet I was penalised because I’m a good citizen and have the right to point out problems. The desk staff treated me like a homeless person—no smile, no hello, no goodbye. The TV in the ground‑floor room didn’t even work.
