The location was great and the room facilities, even the terrace with a pool, were very nice. The staff were very friendly. The only problem was the lack of light in the bathroom. Being on Khao San Road felt excellent, but at night if you’re looking to get a few hours of sleep, the music from the street is loud – it feels like you’re on the street itself. A better double‑glass window with an air cavity could solve this. Still, it’s worth the adventure 😂

The proximity was good. The place had cockroaches, a broken shower that leaked, and a nauseating damp smell.
