It was nice and clean and had plenty storage. The staff were polite. The water pressure in the room is really bad, the shower was broken

The staff were really friendly and it was a large room. We paid for cooked breakfast. We had toast and tea. For ALL THREE days there was NO CHEF to do breakfast. THREE DAYS. That was VERY poor

It has the charm that many once grander place possess. For those who want the premier inn, go there. But if you like authenticity, peace, and a sense of history, you will be enthralled. Da di dee da, as Bolan said, Ride a White Swan. For the price, nothing

Staff very friendly, good size room, early check in and late check out, very good value for money, comfortable bed. The shower had no hot water which was a little disappointing but occasionally these things happen. The noise from deliveries to local businesses in the very early morning disturbed my sleep but there is nothing the hotel could do about that
